Phil Castell, Agency Principal, has been licensed as an Insurance Agent in the State of Washington since 1987. He loves to find solutions to his client’s needs. He has helped thousands of clients with Medicare solutions and Long Term Care plans. He has also protected millions of his client’s hard earned dollars in safe, secure, fixed annuities. Phil has consistently received recognition awards for sales achievements. He also has been a Mutual of Omaha Sales Leader qualifier for the past 5 years.

Sharon Castell is the Office Manager and front desk person. She has been Phil’s business partner for 30 years. She keeps the office running smoothly. Her pleasant demeanor and friendly ear are two of the trademarks the agency is well known for.
Sharon loves visiting her children, Cathy and James who both live in Seattle. Her hobbies include photography and scrapbooking.
John Coulson, Insurance Agent, has been working with the Castell Insurance team since May 2007. He has helped hundreds of clients navigate the Medicare process. John takes the lead role in helping those under age 65 with their Medical Insurance needs. Prior to joining Castell Insurance, John had a 20 year career as a chef and restauranteur.
John is married to Sharon’s sister Jodie. They have a wonderful daughter Ruby, age 5. He loves boating, gardening and spending as much time as possible cooking for the family.
Christy Francis, Administrative Assistant, is the newest addition to the staff and handles much of the clerical paperwork in the office. She is also the backup “greeter” when Sharon is busy.
Nanc Smith contributes to the administrative side of the business and is a newly licensed Health and Life Insurance agent. She will be working with clients as her knowledge of the business grows.
Portland, OR. She is a keen mystery reader, enjoys tending to her 100+ houseplants and doing needlework in her spare time.
We are located at 426 E. Washington Street, in beautiful, sunny Sequim, on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. We can, and do, travel all over the State of Washington to service our clients.
